About Me

Emily Vargas is an emerging artist based in Mercer County New Jersey. She studied Illustration at Mercer County Community College and graduated with a B.F.A. in Studio Art at The College of New Jersey. Emily is skilled in Graphic Design, Illustrations, and Painting. Her work has been exhibited at the Shapes and Colors 2024 Group Exhibition, Mercer County Community College’s Student Art Exhibition, The Philadelphia Flower Show, and The College of New Jersey exhibition "Snapshots!". In 2023, she had a solo exhibition titled "Chromatic Canvas" at TCNJ, featuring 25 paintings. She was actively involved in her community and was a Mercer Community College Graphic Design Club member, creating posters for events in Mercer County and Philadelphia. Recently, she interned with the Arts and Communications Dean’s Office at The College of New Jersey, reflecting her dedication to and leadership in the arts.
